I haven't fiddled in depth with Control:PC or Core Control since the update (just usual interactions to play music) but I haven't noticed anything new and important.

In any case, I didn't expect any important differences based on the release notes. Not sure what you mean about new 818 firmware. There hasn't been any for quite a while unless I missed something.
