Right, I've had the MD600 on for a couple of hours, ID40/ID41 showing up fine but RAID 1/2 lights are both flashing together implying drive failure! This is backed up by the fact that I now have 0GB of Storage and no Artists or Tracks!

Funnily enough, Tidal is now showing up as an Offline Service option.

Time to regroup, Bedtime. Clear head tomorrow

Bugger tho :O)

I thought those lights stayed on if the drive had failed.

Does not both flashing suggest they are synching?

It is unlikely that both have failed simultaneously. One of mine appears to have just died after the s/w update but I suspect it has been coughing up blood since Xmas and the power cycle just tipped it over the edge.

Tidal is under Settings/Storage alongside Rhapsody etc

With just one drive running my music has reappeared so maybe I have a bad drive ?

How to be sure ?

I have to say Debug could be a lot more helpful about the state of the drives. Mine are still showing as 6TB crazy

Hi Gianni

+1 on the debug, compared to the QNAP disk diags the MD600 is way behind, I run a QNAP NAS and have the MD600 as a diskless Core, 6TB (2x3TB disks) shows because it reads the disk labels, it shows 6TB of storage whether you run RAID 0 or RAID 1, you have to look at available space (can't remember the exact description) to see the capacity you have available.

After the update on my MC200, my library on the QNAP is not seen. It shows non Sooloos-Storage, but no music.

This worked all fine before the update, now it doesn't.

I tried powering down all devices, then started up MC200, wait, then QNAP, wait and then MS600.

But no effect.

Does anybody have an idea to solve this issue?

Hi,

Make sure that that QNAP is connected via its LAN port 1?

Try rebooting the QNAP whilst the MC200 is on. [edit just spotted you did]

What version of the Meridian Plug-in is running on the QNAP?

Is the MC200 and QNAP directly hardwired to your LAN.

Regards,
Carl

No problems here.

Except something small due to my network setup. The IP address of the external database has changed. My metadata look-ups starting to fail on the (my) firewall. Found out the 'new' IP, added to allow list - all good.

Hi

The fact the storage is showing but no music is available suggests you may need to reboot your router if you have your Sooloos devices connected to it directly? I had the same rather worrying situation with a TwinStore.

I updated last night, having been away from home until then.

It went without a hitch, although I had the benefit of others experience and did some things to be sure:

1) I disconnected the MS200 to start with and did the rest of the system first.
2) After it was all done, I connected the MS200 with a hardwired LAN cable (it's normally on a moderately stable wireless bridge), and it then updated instantly.
3) I did hard reset of core and all endpoints after the updates had completed.

All is well.
