I'm playing an album on my Office system. The PC, connected by ethernet over powerline, is doing other stuff (downloading large work-related documents, etc.). Another PC is uploading a CD to the store wirelessly. This is my normal operating profile.

I had three interrupts since loading the new software, causing the album being played to stop mid-track and to lose the album art showing top left.

This may be coincidence of course but I would be interested in other's experience of a similar use case.

Since experienced two more drop-outs, now running a back-up to see what happens...

Music played fine while the back-up was running. When the back-up finished, the music stopped AGAIN.

Hi Gianni

Have you tried a power cycle of the entire Sooloos system, I appreciate you are busy working at the moment.

The problem continues here also after rebooting everything (PC, power ethernet points, router, internet connection, etc.) except the MD600 (which rebooted during the s/w update) frown

The problem appears to be on a 15 minute cycle, occasionally dropping a second time just after restarting.

Here also. Third drop out here. Hope that HQ does something about it.

This is really annoying.

Think I may hold off for a while, do it all in one go at the end of the month.

The fourth dropout here. Put the system down. It is ruined after updating. I will leave it for today.

Ok, monitoring closely now.

Regardless of whether music is playing, paused or stopped, the drop-outs are occuring regularly. This includes a brief network disconnect while I rebooted the router. I am guessing that my router (a BT HomeHub v4), being proprietary to my ISP, is different from ThePioneer's router so eliminating that as a possible cause.

Since last starting Control:PC I have had interrupts at 14:49, 15:04, 15:19, 15:34, 15:49 and 16:04 so the frequency is clear.

I think this is worth bringing to the attention of Meridian via a PP unless the mothership wishes to acknowledge here...

Are all your devices connected to the BT HH? If they are then try connecting them to a switch, the HH can have issues with Multicast, not saying this is what you are getting but if you have a spare switch to try it is worth having a go.

The chain is:

MD600 to switch to ethernet-over-power to ethernet-over-power to PC

with the BT broadband router also connected to the switch and BT wireless router connected to the BT broadband router. So I have kept the BT stuff out of the chain as much as possible.

The problems continues on a predictable 15 minute cycle.

I have raised it via PM with my PP for Meridian's attention.

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions as always.
