Just watched Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa live in Amsterdam on Bluray. Great concert but I soon had to turn off the DTS mix and listen with Trifield. Doesn't Joe look like John, Shuttleworth ? They should tour together lol. Great concert though with interesting extras too.

Saw the C C Drops last summer at a festival. Freaking amazing musicians and the fiddle playing lady has a powerful voice. They played every home made blue grass percussion instrument imaginable. Highly recommended.

If you want a 'toe dip' pointer, try track 8 - Tin Pan Alley. This track is a laid back example and fantastic musician ship. A great system test if ever there was one.

Another Saturday Night is generally considered to be a classic compilation that covers the genre. All the Ace compilations are worth checking out, well researched with great sound. Not all of it qualifies as zydeco though.
