We used to have a Philips Ambilight telly (sold it on here) and really enjoyed that side to it. The screen that we now have (Screen Innovations) has back lighting too but, although it has thousands of colour options to pick from, only shows one colour at a time so we tend not to use it. One that changes with the TV content really adds to the experience.
