Thanks, interesting to hear your experiences with the 5K2s and a sub!

From everyone who's posted here, including yourself, it does seem it's all about integration and room interaction, which is a good argument for MRC in itself - if nothing else it probably promotes more domestic harmony than rearranging the room for serious listening (maybe that's how Meridian should market it - MRC - Marriage Rescue Correction?).

I've had a kind offer of a listen to such a setup, so I think that's probably the next step for me - nothing tells you whether you'll like a particular solution/upgrade like actually hearing it, right?
