So i would like an extra output card (speakerlink) with 2 front height channels for IIz
I do not think this is usefull for every M owner, as the waf is low for 2 extra speakers in the air. But that same argument was true for 2 extra channels to go from 5.1 to 7.1
Everyone. Good idea to have a wish list, but do yourselves a favour and put yourself in Meridian's shoes. A long list of ideas without stating the reasons for them is going to end up at the bottom of someone's to-do list.
Please describe the benefit of your request as well as the request itself. Also, it's very useful to try and estimate what fraction of Meridian owners would benefit from your request/idea.

If you make no promises, nobody can be disappointed. In the past there have been teasers, with mixed success and the delay/problems associated with fixing Trifield. Don't give up please. It would be great to know the direction things are going. We can use our imaginations with Explorer/Director and NAS streaming was sort of hinted at.
It would be great to get hints at whats down the road. How about if we promised never to be disappointed?
EBA on all ported speakers that would benefit (that would include 3200s to help with use as rears in HT setups). Is this on the map?
(I think Mark Carney will live to regret Forward Guidance, but his bank balance won't)

+1 for this
Also i would like to see some decoding capability in an HD621 variant to be able to then apodise in my processor. This would be really useful for sources that cannot output LPCM, Sky HD Box for example.
If it was to include decoding HD codecs as well that might be a cherry on top!

Additionally, I would rather see a medium-sized infinite baffle speaker, between the 3300 and 8000. Maybe a 6200? (Reason: I can hear the ports on my 5200s, and it's the main weakness of the speakers IMO...)

For HD codecs, you would then be moving the decoding (a mechanical, lossless process), and therefore the upsampling, until later in the chain which according to Meridian's belief about jitter, would be less good than decoding in the player and then up sampling in the HD621.
For vanilla DD/DTS I can see a need - and specifically in my set up - in the case of a source which cannot itself decode vanilla DD/DTS (such as Apple TV or a cable box).
However, in those cases where the source can decode vanilla DD/DTS (such as modern Bluray/DVD players) you would by the same logic be better off allowing the source to decode and then upsampling in the HD621. This is both the case according to Meridian's theories, and I have found it to be quite clearly audibly better with both my Bluray players.
While we're on the HD621, I'd like a display showing what codec etc is being input and output, which would help with troubleshooting - and to be sure what it is doing.
I'd also like the firmware to allow channel and decoding settings on a per source basis, rather than global. This affects me because I need to make the HD621 force my Sony BD player to decode vanilla, by setting DD/DTS to NO. But this then means I loose AppleTV DD/DTS output, and have to force that to stereo in the AppleTV. Not the end of the world perhaps, but not a limitation I can understand either.
