Hi guys!

I had a very happy & positive transaction with Ian (MI') buying some custom made digital coaxial cables. Excellent communication throughout. Very accommodating, even throw in some spare cut-off cable for a friend to examine. Great price, free 1st class delivery. Couldn't be happier! Highly recommended. Happy to do business with again.

Thank,
Marc

Thanks to both of you,

Bruce Sinclair sold me a 568.2 and a 562v2. He is an honest, kind and genuine seller. A true credit to this forum. His description regarding condition of products was truthful. Meridian equipment came packaged perfectly and any transactions I have had with him have been hassle-free. Moreover, Bruce is extremely knowledgeable. While I was only a buyer to him, he realised how truly novice I was in audiophile setup (and also how limited my funds were!). Therefore, he went out of his way to source cables, advised me on an upgrade path and has generally been extremely helpful with setup of my Meridian/av equipment.

Many thanks to "Holtz'" for his hospitality today when I collected my new 5200HC.
The speaker was immaculate and Holtz' went to great lengths to fit it back into his system ( not a simple ask) and insisted I gave it a good audition before packing it all back up again.
Pleasure to deal with and to chat with.

508 Repair service excellent!

Well I purchased a 508 second hand about 8 months ago, to replace one that I sold some years ago and sorely missed. So I took a risk and all was fine until about 4 weeks ago and then it miss-tracked suddenly, this started to occur on certain older disks. The problem is a known issue with 508's, so panic set in but I came across Chris in my search for help, an ex Meridian engineer who has set up business doing repairs, M Repair.

He replied to my forum contact very quickly and after a discussion over the phone he thought it was the grease on the transport issue. So he arranged collection, ordered a replacement transport in case and and turned around the repair in less than a week, and I have a spare new transport in case it is needed in the future. Since connecting back up it has not miss-tracked and is performing beautifully.

I have had several discussions with Chris over the past 2 weeks about various Meridian gear and the best way for me to upgrade my system, he has been extremely helpful and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a repair or help with Meridian gear, I believe he also repairs other makes as well.

You can find him on this forum as Chris J C.

Today I parted with my 598DP, so thanks to Martin (user name KHJ999) for coming over to pick it up from my house. All very straightforward, it was a pleasure to deal with Martin.

Likewise a very positive experience from my point of view, I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Alastair again.

Bought a used pair of DSP6ks 96/24 from Jason Woodruff of Ohio.
Great price quickly delivered a very nice guy to deal with.
It took us over 9 or 10 months to work out the logistics and of course the price, but finally with full moon and all it just happened.
The DSP6ks sounds wonderful. I would like to thank Carl" Master Yoda" for his quick setup guide and countless others in this site.

I purchased a Control:10 from Florian (Theflow77) excellent chap to deal with, unit was exactly as described, shipping from Germany was pain free. I would happily deal with Florian again.
