Between a pair of DSP6k, would you set the DSP5200HC as "small" or large"?

I think Bob suggested that if paired with DSP5200 "small" would be the best choice. I assume that the same is true for DSP6k

That's how I have set mine up. I started off by setting them to large, but it didn't work that well.
They definitely work better for me as small. For completeness, I only use the 5200 for av sources. For 2 channel I route everything through the 808.3 and use the D2 input on the 6ks.

I am pretty sure that 'small' means bass will be redirected whereas large means that the full frequency range is sent to the speaker.
I have found that only 5500's or above are really capable of sounding right with a 'large' setting.

To add bass for a 'small' one has to consider a sub...
