Hi Ronnie, I've just emailed you with some data from my system.
I get iPad images updating with no issue since this core software update.
Let's figure out why. Maybe MAC vs PC ?

Unless I mis understand the problem, I believe that it is fixed too.
Yesterday (maybe day before although probably after update) I used ControlMac to replace a low quality image with a higher resolution image. It also had a slightly different hue.
Based on this thread, I just checked iPad and the image is indeed darker than I remembered. To confirm this, I just checked in the library on disc.
There are a number of different covert art copies, all of them dated yesterday morning at 08:58. Of the ones that I can see (some of them are in dds format which I cannot see), they all appear to have the correct darker hue. Checking with ControlMac confirms the higher resolution image and thus, all the images match this even though I only updated the one via ControlMac.
I checked if the modification date was coincidental, possibly as an artefact from the update. The same is not repeated on a few spot checks with different albums. So on the surface, it appears specific to this album, based on a sample set of half dozen.
I conclude from this sample of one disc, that there is no longer an issue as I understand it.
Whether I did the update at 8:58 yesterday, I cannot remember. It may well have taken time to propagate through.

Ok, I'll revise my comments
At Bristol, I demonstrated the above Issue (amongst others) to Meridian's Roland Morcom and he took note of the issues to have Meridian work on them...........Nick NCPL was also present
I specifically suggested TWO Fixes related to this issue
1) Fix the above Edit Cover behavior, so that when a User change an Album Cover, all FOUR JPG versions are changedDONE in the most recent Update
2) Ensure that the Software Update CREATES New 170, 256 and 512 Pixel Jpg Versions for each Album.this is easily done and would ensure that Users who have already made Artwork changes don't have their previous work & time wastedNot Done as near as I can tell!!
So, I'm glad to see that some progress has been made.........but any User changes made in the past will not find their way thru to the iPad app.......and I know that many Users here have made significant Cover changes to their 1,000+ Album Libraries..........it would be a shame for that Work and Time to have been wasted when a very simple Code change by Meridian would allow New 170 Pixel Images to be created for ALL Existing Albums
So, One Step forward.......but One Step left to go!!

If I understand you correctly, a complete fix would mean the software retrospectively doing (as a one-time correction) the resizing for all the previously updated images, which practically speaking probably means all of them?

Yes, that is what I was asking Meridian to do Essentially it would mean that Users who had already spent lots of time replacing their Low Res AMG Covers hadn't wasted their time........and would not have to repeat their work now that Meridian have fixed the initial problem For the record, a Sooloos System did not have a 170 Pixel Image for each Album prior to the introduction of the iPad App in late February.........a Sooloos system only had the 256 and 512 Pixel Images So the Sooloos Update that accompanied the new iPad Core Control App AUTOMATICALLY created One 170 Pixel Image per Album.........and it did this without any User Intervention The iPad App uses these 170 Pixel Images in the Browse Screen So Meridian have already performed this Auto Update of Covers..........and I was merely asking that they do it again
