Well what do you know...

I just went into webclient http://x.x.x.x/webclient/WebClient.html instead of via ControlMac and the edit fields show perfectly, even with Safari and on iPad.

There seemed to be some crossed lines earlier with some people not having the issue. Now it makes sense. ControlMac is broken, webclient is not. Not sure what functionality is missing over ControlMac, but it seems to be identical. I didn't realise that you could edit stuff with web client, but it seems that you can.
