I have just fired up my MC200 for the first.

I am controlling with the iPhone 4 at the moment.

I am getting the album art when playing - however when searching I get a lot of grey icons next to stuff that I thought would be the album art?

I have ripped my music using dBpoweramp and added metadata etc.

Have I done something wrong - or is that just how it is on the iPhone?

Thanks.

Regards

I don't think you get artwork on the iPhone. Others can confirm I think.

That's how it is on the iPhone. The iPad app is a different app and has a much richer set of features.

Hi, does anyone know how to change the MC200 settings back from fixed volume to variable?
Or for that matter, how to change from 48khz to 96kHz on the digital output?

I have looked and can't find it; that doesn't mean it isn't staring me in the face.

Cheers, Chris smile

Using the Sooloos Configuration Program click the Audio Endpoint shown under the MC200.

OK, now I have found it, You click on audio end point/Zone in the Config programme. It doesn't look like a live button, but it is.
Cheers, Chris smile

Me again,

I just noticed if you disable the Meridian comms box in Config, the volume changes from 0-100 to dB.(-n to 0db).
With the fixed analog output I thought some Hot CD's were clipping on the F80. Hopefully this all goes away now.

Through the summer I will move the MC200 into the conservatory permanently and use the digital out.
Will the F80 take 96Khz in via optical?

Just as a thought, this analog into the F80 has had it sounding better that it has ever sounded IMHO.
Cheers, Chris smile
