I had that for the first time this morning. Blank queue, incorrect number and duration of unplayed tracks. Was fixed by restarting the App.

iPad 2 running the OS current current until last night.

Been having it off and on for a while.

OK, thanks guys. It had not happened for me until last night, so I though perhaps it was 'user error' - as it so often is!

It has been confirmed that the new iPad (iPad3?) has 1GB of RAM. The iPad 2 has 512MB and the first gen that I have has 256MB. Another hope that the new iPad will be better performing with the new Core Control iPad app.

New to the forum, and I've looked but haven't seen this covered, apologies if it has been.

Have a Control 15, iPad first gen with 64GB, wifi.

Downloaded the new app a couple days ago, and first time it downloaded all the cover art, albeit slowly. However, today, all the art is gone, and isn't reloading. So all I have are a few gray boxes, and a bunch of empty black boxes above the album name. Makes the new app pretty useless. The rest of the app works fine, just no cover art anywhere.

Any ideas how I can recover and display the cover art? I have deleted the app and installed again, to no avail.

Welcome to the forum. Try rebooting your C15 as well.

I fixed this by rebooting the Control 15, apparently it had booted up previously without the internet connected at the time of booting (but was connected later), and then when I ran the app, no art. When booted up connected to the internet from the get go, no problem.

Thanks, Carl, saw your response after the fact, but that indeed was the issue.

I have noticed the reoccurring problem. In radio channels I have added a few radio channels. The problem is that the images of the radio channels wont show.

The radio channels are the following:
SR Klassiskt
SR P2 musik
Linn Jazz
Linn Classical
Linn Radio
Classic FM
BBC Radio 3
Bandit Rock
1.FM - Otto's baroque musick

All radio channels have images because they display properly when I pull down "now playing tab" by tapping the Meridian logo at the top. Just after I added 1.FM - Otto's baroque musick the image was showing but the next time I opened the app the image was gone. I use iPad 1. Has anybody else had this type of problems or I am alone with it.

Seems to scroll (jerkily) between different screens on new iPad and no sign of cover load once loaded. Didn't notice that on borrowed iPad2 that I had.

The App loads the 170 Pixel Resize in the "Browse" Album 6 by 3 (or 4 by 5) Grid

I've also established that the App Caches as many of these Covers as possible depending on the available RAM at that point.......and perhaps other restrictions.........it's possible that it's setting its own Upper Limit on the amount of RAM it will "claim".......and if it's doing this, then that number is likely based on the RAM of the iPad 1........(I've also seen this on a few other Apps)

The other App screens (Explore and Queue) use the Cover.jpg file........and it appears as though the App does not Cache this........which makes sense I think

FWIW, even on the new iPad, it's worth manually closing all other Apps........then a Reboot........then run the Sooloos App..........just to establish a "performance" baseline

How do I get to the bigger cover art? on iPad 2 I thought I just swiped down on the screen somewhere but I can't seem to do that

Also the text, buttons and images on the left hand side in the album screen information is pretty awful. Needs optimising for retina it would seem.

I'd think we'll see that for a while on the new iPad. Reminds me of how standard definition TV looked worse on HDTVs than it did on the older sets (moot point once enough hidef programming came along).
