And how do you know that? Were you involved with Sooloos before they sold to M? Some of us have friends at Meridian who tell us things. Sooloos was in financial trouble and was touting itself around the industry. Meridian needed an entry into client-server audio and purchased Sooloos for a nominal $1, which included several $million of debt.

Very happy with the app so far. I have more crucial apps (such as my main banking app) which crash more often even having been revised many times. The Sooloos app has only crashed once or maybe twice for me in the three days I've had it loaded.
So I certainly won't join the moaners.
Question: I have several discs featuring Brahms op. 118 on them. The metadata is all good (I am being very careful) - and the relevant tracks therefore have "Brahms op. 118 in them). But when I type Brahms 118 into the search box, nothing comes up.
What am I doing wrong? (I fear I know the answer...)

What is the name of the Album(s) in question??
I don't believe that the App Search Box searches on Track Name........only Album, Artist and maybe Composer.......haven't fully tested it yet
Pretty sure that the ControlPC/Mac apps Search Box searches in more Criteria / Metadata fields than the iPad app........but like I said, I haven't really spent enough time testing it to see exactly what it does

And how do you know that? Were you involved with Sooloos before they sold to M? Having owned Meridian equipment for over 25 years, I've made and maintained personal contacts within Meridian. Keeping ones ear to the ground is never a bad thing be that for business or ones hobby. Regards, Carl

You would never listen to Meridian audio? Really? Why are you here? To test digital outputs? Just asking.
Ken This is the Sooloos board isn't it?

At risk of repeating myself, since I disabled iCloud synching, my app hasn't crashed. So I re-enabled iCloud synching (one part at a time, to see if there were any obvious conflicts) and I am getting no crashes. Which I suppose is good news and bad news. I'm still getting an occasional blank queue/swim screen but...

Same limitation on the C10/C15? (Am away from home so can't test further right now.)

iPad 2: I have Swim all albums permanently on which makes for a long queue list after a couple of weeks. Since memory seems a bit of an issue. Maybe this affects consumption of it.
Creating album sets was the other thing that seemed to spring a bit more processing time when browsing covers and this is where i noticed an increase in app crashes.

Perhaps this has already been mentioned, but I do find that it sometimes takes a while for an album cover to populate the scroll screen - in a couple of cases, overnight. Point, for me at least, is no to get too OCD about it and immediately try to fix the problem

Point, for me at least, is no to get too OCD about it and immediately try to fix the problem I waited three days and my updated album art still did not appear on the scroll screen. I just rebooted my Ensemble and they immediately appeared. Perhaps it needs time and a reboot? Just tested further: a reboot works immediately

Interesting to note that I have had Safari crash a couple of times this weekend whilst Core Control was running (but closed). Assume it was still doing something and holding memory. Hasn't done it since I fully closed CC.

Perhaps it needs time and a reboot? What does reboot mean in the context of the iPad? Is it just making sure CC is fully closed, or something more drastic?
