I got the call today (having contacted my dealer last week) that the new firmware was available for install (a dealer download from Meridian).

I had asked them to check about reverting to the older firmware if I wanted to. I use the +3db tweak and am only really interested in the Trifield Width fix portion of the upgrade (all my music listening is using Trifield with upsampling either by puremusic or the HD621). Apparently reverting is not a problem.

I could either take my units in or have a home install (for a standard 1h callout charge of 60) & have booked the home install for the 24th.

Perhaps I'm being naive, but hope that I will be able to retain all my calibration values (and therefore the +3db) with the benefit of Trifield width finally working grin

Cheers,
Justin
