I don't think it's that straight forward. M rely on it's dealers for support. For this product to reach as many people as possible it shouldn't be restricted to specialised hi-fi shops.It therefore needs to remain as a niche product or M need to change its support arrangements. It should also remain consistent with M's marketing plan which seems to be the Luxury market. In other words M would need to change it marketing and support arrangements if they want to sell it to as many people as possible (I think!)

Also part of your argument for including Android can be used for including a CD player (lots of people have them) .

Personally I'd be happy for it not to have a CD player and be targeted at a smaller audience.

This is more fun than working!
