I agree with most of above comments:

Sooloos connectivity, ideally wireless, is important (with enough control to not need another control device - although control by control 15 / iPad etc. should also be possible).

Any docking should be external - not integrated to allow for different dock connectors on future devices
iPod/iPad/iPhone connection should be digital - Airplay would be good.

DAB radio important.

2nd alarm would be useful.

Ripping to internal harddrive could really add to portability and could be 'one box' Sooloos system;
and/or
USB connection for external harddrive or USB stick with FLAC/MP3 etc. replay

sub-out would be good.

Video is not too important but must be HDMI if it's included.
(one use case as kitchen/breakfast room system with TV to improve TV sound - would need audio in from TV - digital/analog/HDMI (dare I say) a sub-out).
