Well they certainly should be........Some facts to digest

** Android already at 52% of the Smartphone Market, compared to 29% iPhone

** Samsung alone sold 60% more Smartphones (28 million total v Apple's 17.5m) than Apple last quarter.....and that was without their most recent / advanced model being on sale in the US

** Android taking about 35% of the Tablet market this year and projected to Grow to 50-60% by 2014

** Amazon's Kindle Fire at $180 being released in about a week........Android based and projected to sell like wildfire due to price.......just like the $100 HP's did when they had their fire sale

The main problem with catering to Android is that

a) they don't have an Airplay equivalent

b) while most Android devices use Micro-USB as their "connector", they can be physically located in different locations on the phone..........making a Dock design difficult

Google Android are reputed to working on their Airplay equivalent.....and Meridian should try and talk to their R&D Team..........ignoring a likely Billion Android users does not make good business sense
