For me, the F80 is a portable unit, but not one that I (nor I suspect most people) lug about the house.

My initial thought is to ditch the video. Some use it, most don't; but if this thing has a low height profile, it could sit under a TV. If video is retained, HDMI connectivity is essential.

M needs to think very hard about integration with 3rd party services. I think a flexible range of docking stations / interfaces might be the way to go.

Decent display.

Finally, dare I say it, if the C12 could act as a Squeezebox client, I would probably buy three. Sure, I have no interest in Sooloos at the moment, but would M like my custom or not?
