I realise that it is OT but feel that it is important to feedback advice that did not work out especially when it is potentially costly. Much as I tried and wanted it to, the Magic Mouse unfortunately has not worked out for me.

I gave it a couple of weeks, but still find that a slight occasional accidental brush of the hand or finger is enough to cause the Magic Mouse to interpret this as a zoom request. So I cannot recommend that rodent for prolonged precision CAD or illustration work.

I have now bought a wired logitech mouse, otherwise the same as my wireless PC version and find its precision, tracking and comfort far superior to the Apple offering. And pretty much zero chance of it accidentally misinterpreting a mouse move as a zoom command.
