Evdberg, many thanks - that has it working!

Bingo. It didn't create a folder for some reason so I created it by hand and dragged the files in. Now it is all working.

Thanks,
Duncan

Am I right that this should work on G68ADV without problems?

However I seems to be running into the same problem ad Cliff - the program opens, and shuts down with the following message "could not load Apodizing filter" ...

I have tried opening the progrma as admin, and from different locations - but no luck.

Any other way to get the modded firmware?

Are you running 64bit Win 7 or other? It would interesting to narrow the issue.

Same problem here! Could not load apodizing filter. 32 bit Windows XP machine. I will go try on my old Windows 95 laptop that I use to change configs on my 568.2. The old serial port on that machine always worked well flashing my 568 so I stuck with it.

I maybe on the wrong track here, but I received the same message when I first ran the program. The only firmware files I had were for the 568.2mm, so I then downloaded all the speaker firmware. Next time I ran, the files were updated - maybe the program needs an apodizing firmware set to use as the source for the updates?

As I say this maybe completely incorrect.

Nick, you're a genius! That's it. For some reason I thought the program contained the info to create the new file.

I was beginning to think the same thing. Cool I'll go download all the firmware.

Erwin,

I have installed the new firmaware on my 800v3 AND (after a lot of heartbeats) IT WORKS !!

Thanks for your great job here, my 800 apodises now !!

First very quick impression, the sound is a little more refined and some "hardness" is gone.

Erwin, I want to give you something for your great job !!

Robert
