Yes. But your previous post said he was "Done" after the STORE. smile That's only the first step, well second and didn't want to mislead him.

I tend to tweak one thing at time. Different strokes for different folks. I often tweak a parameter and then intentionally never store it so I can snap back to my orginal "reference" settings. I change things very cautiously, very slowly. Let's say I'm on X. And I want to try X + .1. I set that and listen. Then I switch source to purposely lose that setting and listen again to what I started with (my reference). Then apply X + .1 again and listen. Then reset again and try say X + .2. I never store. The only thing ever "STORE" goes directly in my MConfig because once I'm certain I want something I put in MConfig and save it there so that time consuming work is never lost. I can also label that file as "X + .2" to track it.

There is nothing wrong with your method either. But I just feel blind and unsafe using "STORE". I also don't actually write it down bacause I only do one parameter at a time. It goes directly from G68 display to MConfig on laptop.

By the way you can fetch, but just don't save it as your new "Master Copy".
