Firstly, I've always been using MConfig as the master (and uploading) - but it clearly shows my processor's "typed" to 0 at the moment, which I don't believe is correct for what I want.
When I tried changing the type to 1, the options on the bass management page are different - and I believe that type 1 is closest to what I'm looking for with a 7.1 analogue (passive) music-biased set-up.
If you "type" differently, doesn't it give you differing menu options ? From my experience this morning that's certainly what happens between types 0 & 1.
Edit : just tried it & I think that I now have 2 types uploaded (0 & 1) but the sub's still not engaging with stereo. Baffled. Am just going to leave it until someone comes over & sets it up properly....
Now, back to the music !
