These speakers sold for $13,000 new and have been in the Meridian speaker line-up for close to 15 yrs and still being sold today! With technology always moving especially audio Meridian got it right with the 5500. These beasts` weigh-in at 140ea 180-boxed pounds each! I'm willing (with your help :)) to drive these bad boys to you (within reason) if your local. Nor-Cal. Willing to ship worldwide under the right circumstances to the right buyer.

Meridian introduced the 5500 in 1996 for $10,700 they are such good speakers that they are still part of Meridians speaker line selling for $20,000 for the 24 bit versions which these can be upgraded too still, though these 18bit versions are fantastic just as they are. They have never given any problems. They have the usual minor nics from time but play and sound as sweet as the day I bought them. Has seen duty as rears the last year and a half. . All things Meridian really hold their resale value. Yours for $2,750.

Price $2,750. Payment options: Add applicable % for paypal, cash, money wire or cashier`s check (allow time for check to clear)
