VK, Strangely I got the following from Gary only this morning (only after I had asked again what was going on):

I suspect that what was left of his Oppo mod business came to a screeching halt with the introduction of the Oppo BDP-SE. I hope he has another source of income to fund your refund.

Unfortunately for many M owners, Gary was the only provider of the SPDIF mod in the market. There are still plenty of SE souper-uppers out there though!
