unsure if this storage unit i am currently using for my 5200 center channel, 861v8, server, etc. can handle the added weight of a 7200hc.

i added the cross braces at the sides and middle as well as side panels and the perforated metal backing options.

what do you think?

eames storage unit

thx

With the support in the middle I think you should be fine.

thank you for the reply.

my worry is that each brace uses a single screw, but i guess since there are 6 of them per shelf it will suffice.

(after OCD'ing on audiophile racks i just can't get into their aesthetics, and i searched high and low.)

The DSP7200HC weighs 65kgs 144lbs so you could load it up to see how secure it is, use books maybe?
