Problem occurs both with TouchPC and ControlPC .
At one stage I uninstalled ControlPC and re-installed, no difference, ergo me thinks it would be fruitless to uninstall & reinstall TouchPC

Thanks anyway

Hello Ian

Have discovered some things you may be interested in.

1 Turning off power on 808v6 does not reset ID41
2 Removing power cable on 808v6 does not reset ID41
3 Have 808v6 in standby and press & hold 'repeat' key on front panel until 'Audio endpoint reset' appears on display ... ID41 is then reset.
4 TouchPC for the first time (for me anyway) allows me to set a Master zone (808v6)
5 /debug as you explained above now shows MC200 'is slave' Yes , 808v6 shows 'is slave' No.

Tested issue

Not resolved.

Manually 're-typed' 808v6 from front panel (type = 1 and ir = controller)

Issue resolved.

However, manually typing clears any configuration changes already set.

So back to MConfig, add MC200 and original issue reappears, I'm now going through every setting on adding MC200 to see what causes problem.

Getting there

Mark

You said the MC200 was only connected via ethernet. That said, why would you be adding the MC200 in mconfig? There lies the problem, you have two Sooloos sources in the same mconfig and one is cancelling the other out. I would bet that after everything is reset, and the ID41 is showing up, the ID41 disappears right after it is selected as a zone. I have seen this before.

My mistake, Bruce, MC200 still connected via digital coax to D2 on 808v6, which is why I used MConfig to configure.
I'm adding 1 analogue input at a time, saving msl file as I go so I can restore latest setup if needed. I use MSR to control other devices so the source keys have to be disabled on 808. So far though all works fine without adding MC200 via MConfig.

So you are not using the ID41 on the 808v6?
