I have a F80 in Rosso Corsa. smile

My firmware is currently 1.0.12

Anyone know what the latest (last) firmware update number is? Would I benefit from updating? I've ordered a i80 unit. Do I need to update from 1.0.12 to benefit from it?

I've tried the link to update the firmware but I get an error. I'm trying to run the link: Meridian Flash Upload Program

https://www.meridian-audio.com/download/components.html

The first error is 'failed to load application from'.

Checking the Meridian web site...
Checking for installable components...
An unexpected error occurred
Update check failed.

Does anyone have an alternative link please? confused

Bluetooth.
Has anyone had a good experience using a Bluetooth adapter? I'd like to link my iPhone to the unit. Any recommendations for the best unit?

CheeRS!

VK Can I assume F80 is equal to M80 or are there differences?
Thanks in advance of your comments.

Hector, I believe that there are no differences apart from the branding, but I wouldn't bet my life on it!

I believe that F80 is updated via a CD - cannot recall ever seeing a downloadabe image to burn.

Watchout for i80 power - early F80 units needed an internal hardware update (not sure if it was just internal fuse or more) in order to support the power requirements of i80 - if your F80 did not originally come with i80, it may be affected. There may be a relevent tech note showing whats involved.

Nope, there is a special RS232 (9-pin serial to mini-din with one pin broken off!) cable.
