I agree, I don't understand why some folks don't put prices.
If people don't put a price I assume they probably want too much and I typically won't bother to ask.
Folks generally know their prices on the forum and if you price it at the market value on your listing, it's likely to move quickly.
Also if something is priced way out of line (too high or too low) sometimes a PM from a non interested party might send them a dose of reality. I know I have on occasion and been thanked for the information.
If you really are not gonna get close to $$$ maybe you should not sell it.
Also it puzzles me why so many want to sell their whole system as a whole. 99% of the folks here already have a system and want to typically upgrade parts of their system. And if someone does buy everything they expect more discount because they are buying multiple items, less work for the seller. But I think some sellers think the system has more value when complete. It's not a car. It's a combination of components YOU chose to put together. What are the chances of someone coming to the board having nothing and the funds to buy everything and it's exactly the combination of components they wanted. About 0.001% chance.

That made me laugh twice George, once in agreement and then the second time because I was the idiot that bought 5 M33s a 561 and an M1500 because it was a good deal and all I wanted was a pair of M33s! (still have 2 M33s M1500 and 561)! Cheers Tom

Dear Gizze et al,
I stated I had tyre kickers when putting my kit up for sale & did not qualify that statement - My apologies. I had interested parties outside of HH'ers forum, who showed an interest & so a dialogue with prices & further information was established. They came & listened, made conditional offers. Which then never manifested to a sale.
Hence the situation. I was reluctant to put the prices on there, well because usually I don't know the true value apart from asking re-sellers - which end up quite optimistic.
I have sold kit here on the forum on many occasions no issues. I noticed that showing prices may be a cultural thing, as the Brits don't usually state them & our cousins from across the pond do!
More than happy to put prices down chaps!

It was in relation to averts in the 'for sale' section with no prices, it was split from Audioaero's sales thread with some cracking items in it but not much interest. I see he added prices this morning and had numerous PMs since then. Just said it seems a strange way to try and sell something, not having a price.
No Darling, I've had it months!
