I've recently moved. Got broadband installed today (new router) but can't see the MS200. I'm using Roon, by the way.

When I first got it I had problems connecting it via ethernet but it was straight away seen via wireless. Now I can't see it at all.

Could this be a problem with the MS200? Was working fine before I moved. I've tried to find it's webpage without success.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Is the MS200 set to Fixed IP or DHCP?

Your new router may be on a different subnet.

Eg some routers use 192.168.0.X whilst others use 192.168.1.X etc.

I assume you have a Windows PC? If yes then download Meridian Sooloos Configure program, install it and run it, this should find your MS200 irrespective of its IP address, let us know the result.

Ah, yes, you are right. First off I thought, 'I'm not savvy enough to make a fixed IP address' but then remembered a friend did it when I was struggling to make it work via ethernet.

We can't remember the IP address, though ...

Irrespective of Mac/PC your router’s web set-up page should reveal the IP address of all your connected devices (my VM router does).


My Mac can go all the way to XI

Braids,

The MAC address of your MS200 is located of the sticker on the underside. If you access your router setup screen you should be able to find a page with the DHCP assignments and matching MAC addresses. You can therefore determine the IP address assigned to your MS200.

You can then type this IP address into Safari and you will be taken into the MS200 setup screen.
