Hello,

I have constant issues with my C15 recognizing my Store:Two.

I must restart the Store several times before the C15 will recognize it.

I have submitted a request to Meridian support but received no response.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Generally a network/router related issue (intermittent connections)

Could you describe your network layout please?
Are both C15 and Store hard wired to your router?
Do you use any network over power, or Wi-Fi bridges?

Have you tried a different router?

Cheers,
Rick

Hi Rick
Thank you for your response.
Not too tech savvy but will give this a shot

Internet cable goes into modem.
Modem to wireless router.
Both the C15 and the Stores are connected (hardwired) through the wireless router.

No WiFi bridges.
Not clear on your meaning of "network over power".
Have not tried a different router. I will look into this.

One additional thing to add. The power goes out (average 3-4 times per week). Sometimes when power is restored, the C15 is asking for registration information and set up settings.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you,
Derek

Are you rebooting all devices in order from the router to the C15? I had that issue with Sooloos due to power interruptions.

By network over power he refers to use of the power grid as the cables for Internet/Ethernet rather than a dedicated line.

Hi Mtns

I did not reboot the router. (Perhaps I should.)
I reboot as follows (in this order) :

1) C15
2) Primary
3) Backup

Thank you for the explanation on network over power.
No I am not using this. It is a dedicated line.

Hello again.
Coming back to my StoreTwo issues (C15 not recognizing).

Now the C15 will no longer recognize by StoreTwo-primary but will recognize StoreTwo-backup. I have a bad feeling that it is more than just the router. I am in a 3rd world country and power interruptions are frequent.

Two questions:
1) Is it possible for me to convert the StoreTwo Backup as the Primary?
2) Is there anything else anyone can suggest to bring StoreTwo back to life?

Thank you!

First, as these are all more or less PC's: you might consider putting them on an UPS?

With regards to solution: check the PSU. These will fail over time. Swap it with the working unit. Second option is the CR2032 BIOS battery in the unit.

Good luck!

UPS makes sense.. will do
The PSU was replaced two years ago with a filtered power supply done in USA. This PSU supplies both the back up and the primary. So it appears that is OK. I will check on the CR2032 battery. Thank you

Hi Steve
Unfortunately, I have not yet replaced the CMOS battery. My intention is to do this during this week. I have reached out to the forum to get instructions on how to replace.

I received a replay from Bruce out of Lexington, SC. So I am hoping this solves my issues

Thank you for the follow-up!
